While the Make Space team is small, we are supported by an incredible network of survivors, facilitators, organisations, and user-led groups. We could not do this work alone.
COURTNEY BUCKLER (she/they) | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Courtney is a campaigner who works on mental health policy. They are Head of Policy & Campaigns for the National Survivor User Network and also has a PhD in the sociology of mental health. She loves camping, collaging, and snacking.
VERONICA HENEY (she/her) | RESEARCH LEAD
Veronica is a researcher exploring narratives and experiences of self-harm and anxiety. Her work is informed by her own experiences and developed in collaboration with others who have experience of self-harm. She also loves walking by the sea!
BATHSHEBA SLATER-WELLS (she/her) | COMMS LEAD
Bathsheba is a secondary school English teacher based in Exeter. She is also working on her PhD, researching student peer group relationships and ideas around responsibility. In her free time, she absolutely loves to dance.
